Aeration
The choice for the right aeration system will be determined by the oxygen level required in the treatment process and subsequently the operational cost. AQUA Industrial Watertreatment will help you to find the best solution for your situation.
There are two available options:
Depth Aeration
Blowers feed aerations racks positioned on the bottom of the aeration basin. These racks can be permanently fixed the bottom or fitted on retractable frames (for maintenance purposes). The actual air transfer into the water can be done with fine bubble diffusers tubes or diffuser disks. Also course bubble aeration elements can be fitted. Depth aeration is a very cost effective system.
Surface aeration
With surface aeration, water is transferred through the air where it picks up oxygen. With the same unit the water is continuously mixed in the basin resulting in an even distribution of the oxygen throughout the basin. An advantage of this system is that no additional mixer is required.
